Meet the Dentist

Timothy C. Randall, DDS

Dr. Timothy Randall has been practicing dentistry since 1986, bringing more than 35 years of clinical experience to his patients. A Southern California native, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Cal Poly Pomona and worked at Hoag Memorial Hospital in Newport Beach before attending dental school. He later graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago.

For Dr. Randall, dentistry is about more than treating teeth. He believes patients should feel comfortable, informed, and confident in the care they receive. He takes time to explain treatment options, answer questions, and make sure patients never feel rushed when making decisions about their oral health.

Throughout his career, Dr. Randall has continued to expand his skills through advanced education and hands-on training. He has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education, including additional training in orthodontics and clear aligner treatment. He has also been active in organized dentistry and professional study groups, including serving as co-chair of a study club with the Orange County Dental Society.

Dr. Randall has extensive experience in restorative and comprehensive dentistry and has completed hundreds of dental crowns, fillings, implant restorations, and clear aligner or orthodontic cases. His broad clinical background allows him to care for patients with a wide range of needs, from routine restorative treatment to more complex cases involving full-mouth reconstruction, root canal therapy, dental implants, and orthodontic care.

He also incorporates modern dental technology into diagnosis and treatment planning, including digital impressions, intraoral scanning, and iTero® technology for Invisalign® treatment. For patients who feel anxious about dental care, he offers nitrous oxide sedation when appropriate.

Dr. Randall also welcomes patients who have been told they need extensive dental work, are looking for a second opinion, or need help addressing previous dental treatment that has failed or requires correction. Many of his patients come to the practice through referrals from family and friends, and some travel from outside the immediate area for care.

One of the things patients appreciate most about Dr. Randall and his team is the friendly, personal atmosphere of the office. His goal is to make every patient feel listened to, respected, and well cared for from the moment they walk through the door.

Dr. Randall is a member of the American Dental Association®, California Dental Association, and Orange County Dental Society. He also identified involvement with orthodontic organizations and has achieved Silver Provider status with Invisalign.
